Nepal Best Trekking Site
Lower Dolpo Lower Dolpo can be accessed from the airstrip in Jufal, Dolpa district. You need to fly from Nepalgunj to Jufal. The trekking takes from the airstrip to Shey Phoksundo Lake and from there return to the airport again. From the airstrip, you fly back to Nepalgunj. There is a permit fee of US dollar 10 per person per week for trekking in the Lower Dolpo. Besides there is one time entry fee of rupees 1,000 (US dollar 15) into the Shey Phoksundo National Park. You need to arrange for the food and accommodation. It takes around two weeks to complete the trek. Upper Dolpo Upper Dolpo is the trekking from Jumla to Jomsom or vice-versa. You can fly to Jumla from Nepalgunj or to Jomsom from Pokhara. You can start the trek from Jumla and trek to Jomsom or vice-versa. After completing the trek you will fly out of Jomsom to Pokhara or take the reverse of Jomsom trek route.
